Hikari Chef Knives is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We make ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility of this website and to implement accessibility principles in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations, Israeli Standard 5568 for web content accessibility, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) on which the Israeli standard is based.

Accessibility Features on the Website

The website includes an accessibility menu that can be opened using the accessibility icon displayed on the screen.

The accessibility menu includes, among other options:

  • Increasing and decreasing font size
  • Changing to a more readable font
  • Changing display colors and contrast
  • Underlining links
  • Displaying images in grayscale
  • Inverting website colors

We also make efforts to use a clear content structure, headings, readable text, descriptive links and alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate.

Using the Website with a Keyboard

The website is designed to support navigation using a keyboard and common assistive technologies where possible.

Common keyboard controls include:

  • Tab – move forward between links, buttons and other interactive elements
  • Shift + Tab – move backward between interactive elements
  • Enter – activate a selected link or control

Changing the Display Using Your Browser

In addition to the accessibility controls provided on the website, modern web browsers include built-in options for enlarging or reducing the display.

  • Ctrl + – enlarge the display
  • Ctrl – – reduce the display
  • Ctrl 0 – return the display to its default size

On macOS computers, the corresponding Command key can generally be used instead of Ctrl.
